AND WHEREAS on April 23, 2026, The Francophone Regional Authority of East 
Central Francophone Education Region and The Separate School Trustees of the 
Francophone Regional Authority of East Central Francophone Education Region 
passed a resolution, under Section 79 of the Education Act, to change the corporate 
name of "the Francophone Regional Authority of East Central Francophone 
Education Region" to "Conseil scolaire Centre-Est" and the corporate name of   "The 
Separate School Trustees of the Francophone Regional Authority of East Central 
Francophone Education Region" to "Les conseillers catholiques du Conseil scolaire 
Centre-Est."
THEREFORE I, Demetrios Nicolaides, Minister of Education and Childcare, 
pursuant to Section 79 of the Education Act, hereby make the following Order: 
1	Pursuant to Section 79 of the Education Act, I approve a change in the corporate 
name of "The Francophone Regional Authority of East Central Francophone 
Education Region" to "Conseil scolaire Centre-Est"; and 
2	Pursuant to Section 79 of the Education Act, I approve a change in the corporate
